RentLens only processes information that you voluntarily submit. We do not crawl, scrape, or automatically import data from third-party platforms.

The types of information you may provide include:

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
• Listing inputs — rental listing URLs, pasted text descriptions, uploaded screenshots, and uploaded contract documents (PDFs).
• Generated reports — the Rental Reports produced from your inputs, along with any feedback you provide on them.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

We use the information you submit solely to provide the RentLens service:

• To generate Rental Reports from your listing inputs.
• To maintain your account and report history.
• To respond to your support, feedback, and data requests.
• To improve the quality and accuracy of our analysis over time through product improvements — not by training AI models on your data.

RentLens uses AI models to analyze listing inputs and generate reports. When you submit a listing, its content is sent to our AI processing pipeline to produce the requested analysis.

Your uploaded information is not used to train AI models. We use AI for inference — generating your report — not for model training on your data.

When you upload a listing link, screenshot, or contract, RentLens processes that content only to generate the Rental Report you requested.

Important: Landlords and property owners do not upload information into RentLens. RentLens is a tool used by renters to analyze listings they have found elsewhere. We do not maintain a landlord-facing submission system.

Uploaded documents are associated with your account and your generated reports. They are not shared publicly or made accessible to other users.

Your data is stored on secured infrastructure with access controls limiting access to authorized personnel only. We apply encryption in transit and at rest.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system can guarantee complete security. We continuously work to strengthen our security practices.

We retain your account information and generated reports for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see User Rights below), and we will process your request in accordance with GDPR.

Guest-generated reports (created without an account) are retained for a limited period to allow you to access them, after which they are automatically removed.

RentLens follows GDPR principles. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain types of processing.

RentLens uses essential cookies and similar technologies necessary for the service to function (such as maintaining your login session). We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or third-party tracking.

RentLens relies on trusted third-party services to deliver its functionality, including:

• AI processing providers for generating report analyses.
• Cloud infrastructure and data storage providers.
• Email delivery services for account and support communications.

These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services to RentLens and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
